The 69 Eyes - Live

I’ve just got back from a 69 Eyes Show at the Manchester Academy and I’m a seriously happy bunny. The band was amazing and I even managed to get one of the guitarists’ pick which I am immensely proud of. When I have the energy to hunt for some Blu-Tac I’ll get that up on my gig board and give it pride of place as my first non-ticket piece of music memorabilia. I’m also considering mounting the rather nice pair of tights that I ripped half to shreds in my scuffle with the guy in the audience who tried to prise it from my hand - just to commemorate how hard I fought for that thing!

Here's the setlist, which I pinched from setlist.fm (because I didn't know all of the songs that were played):

Back in Blood Listen to the track on Youtube
Never Say Die Listen to the track on Youtube
The Good, The Bad, & The Undead Listen to the track on Youtube
Dance D’Amour Listen to the track on Youtube
Lips of Blood Listen to the track on Youtube

Suspiria Snow White Listen to the track on Youtube
Wasting The Dawn Listen to the track on Youtube
Kiss Me Undead Listen to the track on Youtube
Perfect Skin Listen to the track on Youtube

Encore:

Framed In Blood Listen to the track on Youtube
Brandon Lee Listen to the track on Youtube
Lost Boys Listen to the track on Youtube

The two gigs that I have been to, over two years apart, have both begun with the track Cry Little Sister, a prominent song from the Lost Boys soundtrack, being played over the sound system.  So going out with their tribute to the film really rounds of the evening perfectly, sealing the theme that they give to their gigs.

I’ll update this post when I find out the names of the support acts because I thought they were pretty good.
